Kick off the start of your day with Dr. Cinda Johnson from CCTS and Dr. Tania May from OSPI. They’re joined by members of the CCTS team who share some logistical reminders, an overview of today’s sessions, and a question to consider throughout the day.


Skagit County Interagency Transition Network (ITN) Post-School Outcome Data Take-aways

Attendees will learn about how Interagency Transition Networks (ITNs) can utilize post-school outcome data to better understand student trends within their respective Educational Service Districts.

Participants will:

  • Gain an understanding about employment and postsecondary enrollment student trends from post-school outcome data throughout Educational Service District 189 and Skagit County.
  • Gain an understanding of ITNs and the importance of collaboration within systems.
  • Understand how to apply qualitive data for quantitative purposes.

Advanced Manufacturing Training Options for High School Youth

AJAC is a statewide non-profit training intermediary for Washington state’s aerospace and advanced manufacturing industries. AJAC provides multiple training options for high school youth with IEPs, 504 Plans, and other documented disabilities to learn about the advanced manufacturing industry, obtain foundational industry certificates and credentials, and develop work experience leading to registered apprenticeship opportunities during and after high school.

Participants will:

  • Learn about employment and training opportunities in Washington state’s aerospace and advanced manufacturing industries for high school youth with IEPs, 504 Plans, and other documented disabilities.
  • Identify registered apprenticeship-supported career pathways in the aerospace and advanced manufacturing industries.
  • Understand AJAC partnerships with K-12 entities that support high school youth with IEPs, 504 Plans and other documented disabilities.
